At Roots by Mendine, we aim to deliver your order safely and efficiently. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Processing

Once your order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed, we begin processing your order.

Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days, excluding Sundays, public holidays, or days when courier services are unavailable.

During high-demand periods, promotional campaigns, stock shortages, operational delays, or unforeseen circumstances, order processing may take longer than usual.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship orders within India to serviceable PIN codes through our courier and logistics partners.

Delivery availability may depend on your location, courier serviceability, product type, and applicable restrictions.

If your location is not serviceable, we may contact you to cancel the order and process the applicable refund.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

Shipping charges may vary depending on:

  • order value;

  • delivery location;

  • product weight or package size;

  • courier partner charges;

  • cash-on-delivery availability, if applicable;

  • promotional offers or free shipping campaigns.

Any applicable shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled by us or the issue is due to an error from our side.

4. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time may vary depending on the delivery location and courier serviceability.

Generally, orders may be delivered within 3–10 business days after dispatch.

Remote locations, non-metro areas, weather conditions, public holidays, courier delays, strikes, natural events, or operational issues may cause additional delay.

Delivery timelines shown on the website, order confirmation page, or tracking page are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, we may share tracking details through email, SMS, WhatsApp, or any other available communication method.

You can use the tracking details to check the status of your shipment on the courier partner’s tracking page.

If tracking information is not updated immediately, please allow some time for the courier system to reflect the latest shipment status.

6. Delivery Attempts

Our courier partner will attempt delivery at the address provided during checkout.

Please ensure that the shipping address, phone number, PIN code, and landmark are accurate and complete.

If the customer is unavailable, the address is incorrect, the phone number is unreachable, or delivery is refused, the shipment may be delayed, returned to us, or marked as undeliverable.

In such cases, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch, if applicable.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Roots by Mendine is not responsible for failed or delayed delivery due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping information provided by the customer.

If you notice an error in your shipping address after placing the order, please contact us immediately at info@mendine.in.

Address changes may not be possible once the order has been packed, shipped, or handed over to the courier partner.

8. Damaged, Opened, or Tampered Package

Please inspect the package carefully at the time of delivery.

If the package appears damaged, opened, leaking, or tampered with, we recommend that you do not accept the package and contact us immediately.

If you receive a damaged, leaked, incorrect, expired, or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible with:

  • order number;

  • product name;

  • clear photos or videos of the product;

  • photos of the outer packaging;

  • photos of the shipping label and invoice.

After verification, we may offer a replacement, refund, or another suitable resolution as per our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Missing Items

If any item is missing from your order, please contact us immediately after delivery at info@mendine.in.

Please share your order number, product details, and package photos so that we can verify the issue and assist you accordingly.

10. Delayed Delivery

Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • courier delays;

  • bad weather;

  • public holidays;

  • strikes or lockdowns;

  • natural disasters;

  • incorrect or incomplete address;

  • customer unavailability;

  • remote location serviceability;

  • operational or technical issues.

Roots by Mendine shall not be liable for delays caused by courier partners or events beyond our reasonable control.

However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in tracking and resolving shipment-related issues.

11. Undelivered or Returned Shipments

If an order is returned to us due to failed delivery, incorrect address, customer unavailability, refusal to accept delivery, or courier service limitation, we may contact you for further instructions.

If re-shipping is requested, additional shipping charges may apply.

If the order is cancelled after being returned to us, the refund, if applicable, will be processed after deducting shipping, handling, cash-on-delivery, or other applicable charges, unless the issue was due to an error from our side.

12. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery, if available, may be offered for selected locations and orders.

Cash on Delivery availability depends on courier serviceability, order value, product type, and our internal policy.

We reserve the right to disable, reject, or cancel Cash on Delivery orders in case of suspicious activity, repeated refusal, incorrect details, or courier limitations.

13. International Shipping

Currently, we may not offer international shipping through the website unless specifically mentioned at checkout.

If international shipping is made available in the future, customs duties, import taxes, local charges, and country-specific regulations may apply and shall be the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.

14. Order Cancellation Before Shipping

You may request order cancellation before the order is shipped.

Once the order has been packed, dispatched, or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation may not be possible.

If cancellation is approved before dispatch, the applicable refund will be processed as per our Return & Refund Policy.
